Ultrasound
Ultrasound scanning, also known as ultrasound imaging, uses high frequency sound waves to obtain images from inside the human body. The reflected sound wave echoes are recorded and displayed as a real-time visual image.
CLIC radiologists use our GE L-9 Ultrasound machine to monitor the heartbeat and development of unborn babies and to produce images of normal and diseased tissue inside the body. Our ultrasound can also detect and evaluate cancer, fetal abnormalities, and other conditions. In addition, our equipment can measure the flow of blood in the heart and blood vessels.
CLIC provides the following Ultrasound services:
- Doppler Ultrasound of the Carotids
- Thyroid Ultrasound
- Abdomen, Gallbladder, Liver & Spleenic Ultrasounds
- Renal (Kidneys) Ultrasound
- Aortic Ultrasound
- Testicular Ultrasound
- Ultrasound of the Extremities
- Breast Ultrasound
